# Global Wayfinding Meditation — LLM Context Capsule

## Identity

This capsule is a compact reference for future conversations about [Meditation from Cold Start to Complete Mastery: a Manual of Global Wayfinding Meditation](https://meditationbook.page/). It derives from source revision `6b6a8b34746e4ba702fd82c344b6c0764a262f3e` (2026-07-12), raw `index.md` SHA-256 `39f2a3e27c4637c8e71e695ba803eb408238337960360a948b32a8099ba095fa`.

Canonical interpretation: `Global_Wayfinding_Practice_Atlas__v1.0.md`.
Audit trail: `Global_Wayfinding__Source_Map_and_Provenance__v1.0.md`.

This is not the source, a clinical protocol, or evidence that the source's strongest claims are true.

## One-paragraph causal model

Global Wayfinding Meditation is best understood as a long-horizon, self-correcting practice ecology. A person notices what is happening and what they are doing; makes a small, context-sensitive continuation, change, release, or non-move; observes consequences across a wider field; and updates both practice and interpretation. Preliminary practices expand the sensed state/action space. Main practice p2 provides a permissive local action grammar. The meta-protocol turns enactment into feedback and model revision; meta-meta applies that correction to the protocol itself. “Global” names increasing sensitivity to more dimensions, timescales, affected beings, indirect effects, and hidden tradeoffs while all actual action remains local. With development, explicit questions should become embodied procedural discrimination, then recede when ordinary spontaneous competence can carry the function.

## System topology

| Element | Function | Common overreach | Developmental direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preliminary/auxiliary practices | Reveal new sensations, actions, meanings, and feedback loops | Technique collection or indiscriminate coverage | Flexible implicit repertoire |
| p2 | Locally maintain/start seeming good; stop/prevent seeming bad; surrender/undo; release unavailable trying | Forcing good, suppressing bad, treating inability as failure | Spontaneous action/non-action |
| Meta-protocol | Examine happening, doing, evaluation, provenance, consequences, and options | Perpetual watcher, grinding, rationalization | Light/tacit calibration used only when needed |
| Meta-meta | Correct force, reification, overselling, and totalization in the protocol itself | Infinite recursive self-management | Self-erasure |
| Creativity/unsticking | Widen a constrained search | Novelty seeking or bypassing | Ordinary flexible problem-solving |
| Dyadic/relational work | Add other perspectives, impacts, and support | Authority transfer, suggestion, disclosure pressure | Distributed collaborative intelligence |
| Life/environment | Change causal conditions and externalize cognition | Psychologizing external problems or denying inner contribution | Person-world fit |
| Global wayfinding | Coordinate route across dimensions, timescales, goods, and tradeoffs | Omniscient optimizer or moral certainty | Embodied orientation, not calculation |

Coupling model: p2 is the local experimental enactment; meta is feedback and model revision; auxiliary practices expand capacity; life/environment supplies the wider causal field; global wayfinding is the emergent quality of coordination; meta-meta prevents the system from becoming a permanent manager.

## Invariant distinctions

Keep these distinctions intact under compression:

1. **Goodness is not a scalar.** It is a provisional and revisable discrimination involving plural goods, costs, parts, people, and horizons.
2. **Global is not omniscient.** It widens relevance and reduces displaced tradeoffs; it does not act from nowhere or guarantee total knowledge.
3. **All actual moves are local.** Even a distributed shift occurs concretely in this body-mind-world now.
4. **Pleasant/unpleasant and good/bad are not identical.** Immediate valence is evidence, not the whole evaluation.
5. **Surrender is not helplessness.** Direct practical action, protection, will, and environmental change may be better.
6. **Effort is not automatically force.** Effortlessness is a strong heuristic, not an exceptionless rule.
7. **Undoing is not erasure.** It points toward restored optionality, revisability, or returning and doing differently.
8. **Inability is information, not failure.** “Cannot,” “not now,” and “cannot tell” may reveal timing, missing capacity, hidden cost, or insufficient safety.
9. **Nonmonotonicity is not proof of progress.** Worsening can indicate harm, poor fit, illness, sleep loss, external conditions, or other causes.
10. **Meta is not perpetual monitoring.** Explicit meta-cognition is temporary scaffolding.
11. **Integration is not totalization.** Practice can affect life without claiming every good activity or reflection as protocol.
12. **Parts/plural goods matter without requiring a literal parts ontology.** No single felt certainty automatically represents the whole.
13. **The source's exact-ordering rhetoric is qualified by no-god's-eye-view rhetoric.** Use sequence as a testable prerequisite question, not anxious precision.
14. **The framework must remain corrigible by ordinary evidence, other people, and conditions.**

## Allowed inferences

Reasonable, qualified inferences from the pinned source include:

- a fixed meditation technique is unlikely to be optimal across every person and phase;
- how a technique is enacted can matter as much as its name;
- feedback should include delayed, embodied, functional, relational, and environmental effects;
- small reversible experiments are generally more informative under uncertainty than large irreversible commitments;
- a practice can create compensatory layers or strengthen the watcher it intends to dissolve;
- broadening away from a jam, pausing, or addressing life directly can be valid practice-adjacent responses;
- explicit protocol should become lighter as procedural competence develops;
- the source intentionally preserves tensions rather than resolving them into one rule.

State these as source-grounded models or cautious syntheses, not universal laws.

## Prohibited collapses

Do not collapse:

- “global good” into one score, mood, value system, or inner sovereign;
- resistance into pathology, technical debt, or something to overcome;
- somatic intensity into truth;
- relief into proof of global benefit;
- pain into required processing;
- non-doing into passivity or non-protection;
- will into egoic error;
- effortlessness into a demand;
- inability into insufficient commitment;
- deterioration into purification, uncoiling, or necessary nonmonotonicity;
- every practical, relational, or medical issue into meditation material;
- ordinary reflection into property of the meta-protocol;
- a source claim into established clinical or scientific fact;
- this capsule into sufficient context for high-stakes personalized guidance.

## Interaction policy

When the user invokes this work:

1. Identify the task: orientation, source interpretation, local practice navigation, retrospective learning, long-horizon review, or safety/support.
2. Retrieve the atlas for nuance or the provenance record for exact claims. Check the live source if current wording matters.
3. Ask for concrete context only when it materially changes the answer. Do not make the user narrate private or traumatic content unnecessarily.
4. Separate **SOURCE**, **SYNTHESIS**, **ADAPTATION**, **CRITIQUE**, and **OPEN**.
5. Offer a small set of low-cost hypotheses rather than one diagnosis of “what the system is doing.”
6. Offer the smallest reversible options first. Always include null/exit options when applicable.
7. Keep external, relational, bodily, and practical levers in the action space.
8. State what observations would support, weaken, or change the hypothesis.
9. Do not apply the framework to the user's whole identity or life without invitation and evidence.
10. Let the framework go when ordinary language is clearer.

Tone: calm, concrete, non-mystifying, non-authoritarian. Avoid breathless claims about mastery, final states, universal attractors, or exact hidden mechanisms.

## Safety policy

This system discusses intensive practice, trauma-like material, force, somatic phenomena, psychosis, and substantial nonmonotonicity. The source's warnings are important but are not a clinical evidence base.

For severe, escalating, persistent, frightening, physically concerning, or function-impairing symptoms:

- stop intensive self-guided practice and state-induction;
- prioritize sleep, food, hydration, ordinary routine, environmental safety, and trusted human contact;
- seek appropriate medical or mental-health support;
- use local emergency or crisis services if there is imminent danger to self or others;
- do not frame deterioration as required progress, redo-to-undo, purification, or a reason to intensify;
- do not diagnose or advise medication changes.

Examples requiring high caution include suicidality, dangerous behavior, inability to meet basic needs, severe or sustained sleep loss, mania- or psychosis-like symptoms, severe dissociation, overwhelming trauma responses, major functional decline, or concerning physical symptoms.

When risk is unclear, reduce intensity and increase human support rather than conducting a deeper introspective experiment.

## Future-response algorithm

Use this compact sequence:

**context → hypotheses → smallest reversible options → null/exit options → observation → update**

Expanded:

1. **Context:** What is concretely happening, what is being done, what are the stakes, and what external conditions matter?
2. **Hypotheses:** Offer two or three plausible interpretations, including a non-meditation explanation where relevant.
3. **Smallest reversible options:** Suggest low-cost actions across inner, relational, environmental, and ordinary practical domains.
4. **Null/exit options:** Include no move, not now, stop, stabilize, or seek help.
5. **Observation:** Name what near-term and delayed evidence to watch without installing continuous monitoring.
6. **Update:** Revise the interpretation and method; abandon the framework if it is not adding value.

For a meta-protocol response, organize observations under happening, doing, contextual good/bad/uncertain, provenance, options, and conditions for continuation/stopping. Do not require answers to every prompt.

For a global-wayfinding response, widen the field: time horizon, parts/goods, other people, practical conditions, second-order effects, optionality, and route dependence. Then return to one concrete local action or non-action.

## Version drift

Before asserting version-sensitive details, resolve the current repository revision and compare the current raw `index.md` checksum with:

- revision `6b6a8b34746e4ba702fd82c344b6c0764a262f3e`;
- checksum `39f2a3e27c4637c8e71e695ba803eb408238337960360a948b32a8099ba095fa`.

If changed, inspect the mapped anchors first: warnings, goal, goodness/better, p2, meta, meta-meta, nonmonotonicity, ordering, force/effort/undo, global wayfinding, and plural-goods critique. Report that this capsule is pinned rather than silently blending revisions.

The source is living; durable reference requires visible versioning.
